Reincarnation and the New Earth

In a recent telephone chat with author Rosemary Ellen Guiley, we were discussing the topic of reincarnation and she stated to me that from her research in the last several years, there’s definitely been an increased interest in the subject.  I had to ponder that for a moment – “why now?”  Well, with all the buzz about 2012, the shift, the desperate need to discover how to raise our individual and collective vibrations, here and now – why would we be focusing on the past, or more aptly, past lives?

And then it dawned on me – Could it be that we are feeling a need to reconnect with the understanding about rebirth because on some unconscious level we feel that the earth is about to reincarnate herself?

This spawned a conscious download for me; an epiphany that indeed the earth; this shift that is being so widely discussed (and felt) on our planet is in the process of reincarnating and we with her!

Highly revered past life regressionist, hypnotherapist and author of The Convoluted Universe books, Dolores Cannon has repeatedly stated what her dis-carnate information sources have told her is a definite forming of a new earth…

“The earth is getting ready to go into its next incarnation.  It will change its vibration and frequency.” -Dolores Cannon

As such, we are being called to change our energetic frequency as well and thus incarnate into what has been called 5 dimensional or “5D” beings.  The real mind-bender however, is that this reincarnation will occur without the death of the body as we know it!  But that’s another discussion, entirely!

So perhaps this yearning to know more about the reincarnation process is an inner pull toward our own inevitability during this most unprecedented point in human history.

Cannon, among others have emphasized the point that our planet and in fact all things are alive and conscious – even “inanimate” objects, as paradoxical as this may seem, have consciousness – moreover, everything that we see and experience are not only conscious, but are on some level connected to us, and as such we resonate with all that is – including and especially the earth.  So if the earth is about to rebirth herself into the 5D, we too are primed for such a transition. 

How this is happening (and many feel that this transition is currently underway) still remains a mystery.  Because humans tend to have this incessant need to see things progress in a linear fashion, one thing occurring after another, with definite demarcation points, we risk missing the grand unfoldment that is happening not linearly but spherically, sort of like the peeling back of an onion.  Perhaps we are reincarnating (and the earth) right before our very eyes!

Time and Our Reincarnational Selves

When we think of time, it is nearly impossible to imagine existence without events - rebirths included, unfolding in succession.  Past, present and future are but notions of the illusion of reality, many have asserted.  I for one happen to resonate with this idea of time as illusion, perplexing as this may seem.  So if indeed time is a mere construct, then how can reincarnation even exist?  The very word itself assumes an incarnation that happens one after the other.

From the landmark channeled material, by Jane Roberts, the entity for which she brought forth, named “Seth,” had this to say as it relates to the reincarnation process…

“Reincarnation, as it is usually explained, in terms of one life before another is a myth, but a myth enabling many to partially understand facts that they would otherwise dismiss – insisting as they do upon the concept of a continuity of time.” And in another statement he says, “…your various reincarnational existences in a large manner co-occur.”

In other words, our presuppositions about reincarnation may be simply misunderstood.  Perhaps a reframing of our language to describe this process as co-incarnation would be better suited to the reality of how this works.

Interestingly, Cannon corroborates this idea about simultaneous existences, both as they pertain to us and to the earth.  Although many have labored to understand how this sort of bifurcation of our planet will take place, she has insisted that the two will indeed co-exist – the old world will spawn a new incarnate paradise.  Further, some of us will remain on the “old earth” and some will “go to” the new.  All of this of course will be decided based on who can raise their frequency to match that of the new earth…or maybe we already have.

These concepts about reincarnation (co-incarnation) can be challenging to a mind trained in linear thought.  That said, on some level it is quite possible that we know this process, that part of us which is beyond the corporeal structures we believe ourselves to be.  Either way, something tells me we are in for an adventure which no “past life” could ever match.  As Cannon has often said…

“This will be the greatest show on earth!”

Geophysical Phenomena and The Thinning Veil

Leo Deis, a 76 year old man from Regina, Canada nearly had his paradigm shattered when he witnessed firsthand, a broom in his family home stand on its own. The bristled broomstick, suspended with no aid whatsoever remained in an upright position on their tiled floor for a significant amount of time. Deis was not the only one in his family to witness this apparent feat of non-corporeal wizardry. Inquisitive, he decided to take a paintbrush to the floor to see if it would obey these new “laws of physics” he had recently discovered. To his amazement, the brush followed suit and remained suspended as well with no support at all.

Apparently the phenomenon of unsupported brooms has been sweeping across the planet and reported by store owners, housewives and news media alike. So, quite honestly, what is going on?

Deis was quick to point out his interest and previous study of physics and chemistry, and reasoned that this anomalous act might be an epiphenomenon from the recent high solar activity that has been taking place.

It is certainly difficult to ignore the fact that a variety of strange and unusual phenomena have been occurring in recent years, although some date these increased effects back to the 1800’s.

The Geophysical Factor

Is there indeed some correlation between these phenomena and erratic geophysical activity (GPA)?

When I recently spoke with author and paranormal researcher Rosemary Ellen Guiley to get her take on whether GPA might account for an increase in reported paranormal activity, here’s what she had to say…

“Many people have speculated that activity in the earth’s magnetic field has bearing on this and I do believe that to be the case. We have cycles and solar activity where increased solar flares activate the magnetosphere and paranormal investigations indicate that spirit communications and even the manifestations of entities seem to be sensitive to fluctuations in the magnetic energy. There are places on the earth for example that have dramatic negative magnetic anomalies and these almost always are associated with intense hot zones and paranormal activity on an ongoing basis.”

Although science is quick to point out that there is no hard evidence to support these claims, they do admit that the sun’s magnetic field is “flipping” and that solar maximum is here.

In an article posted on the NASA Science News web site in 2001, scientists state, “The sun's magnetic poles will remain as they are now, with the north magnetic pole pointing through the Sun's southern hemisphere, until the year 2012 when they will reverse again. This transition happens, as far as we know, at the peak of every 11-year sunspot cycle -- like clockwork.”

However, there seem to be additional significant elements that combined with the sun’s erratic behavior are making for an anomalous intersection of activity; the effects of which we haven’t seen for perhaps thousands of years.

It is well documented that the earth’s magnetic field is weakening, a feature that gradually but inevitably precedes a full-on pole shift. Many scientists agree that pole reversal has occurred many times over the millennia, and yet most are loathed to admit that we will experience a total pole shift in our lifetime. Others disagree. Researcher and author Gregg Braden is among those doing work in this field who believes that we are in the midst of a shift on many levels. In his landmark book Awakening to Zero Point, he describes something he calls the Shift of the Ages; a time in earth’s history and in human consciousness when a “convergence of decreasing planetary magnetic and increasing planetary frequency upon a point in time” takes place. “The shift represents a rare opportunity of collectively repatterning the expression of human consciousness.”

This repatterning may very well be resulting in changes to the human sensory system, and experienced both physiologically and psychologically.

Many are reporting, irregular patterns of sleep, often waking during the hours between 2am-4am. Additionally, there have been many who I have personally spoken to who have insisted that they have been awakened by either a non-physical being of some sort (some have called them “shadow-like” beings) or even balls of light floating around the room, of which the experiencer senses some form of intelligence. Of course there have been many variations to these reports.

Others are reporting extremely vivid, sometimes precognitive dreams. Telepathy seems to be on the increase. The act of manifesting based on thought alone is not a new concept, although we are hearing many more cases of instant manifestation in our daily lives.

Lynne McTaggart points out in her book, The Intention Experiment how geomagnetic fluctuations in earth’s atmosphere can have a significant impact on the consciousness of an individual. Especially during periods of moderate to high solar activity, the act of sending conscious intention seems to be far more effective. Interestingly though, when solar activity is low, thereby resulting in quiet to no geomagnetic “storminess,” the faculty known as psi whereby the individual is more tuned to receiving information is greater.

My surmise is that both sending and receiving of psychic information has reached a crescendo due perhaps, in part to the heightened geophysical phenomena we are experiencing on a regular basis.

Our psychic faculties and the interpenetration of our awareness into these realms are but one, albeit important, feature of this “new energy” we are experiencing. Braden points out however, “…it is the awareness of humankind, and not the life essence itself, that is used to interpret the three dimensional world…It is this awareness that is locked up within the fields of magnetics surrounding our planet. Through the structure provided as fields of magnetics the net of our awareness matrix is stabilized and secured in place.”

However, now with the steady decrease of magnetic shielding, the persistent increase of earth frequency along with the fury of solar activity, a potpourri of possibilities are being hurled our way.

What does one do with all of this?

I’ve no doubt that the complexities of just what is going on here, leaving hints as they may, are more than most can get their heads around – science included! But as is often noted, nature leaves clues if one is attuned to its subtle information.

If we can just imagine that earth has a consciousness and a body, and “heartbeat” just as we do, we can also reason that resonance between these two bodies (of man and earth) is a natural phenomenon. When the predominant energy changes, the other must follow in like manner – this is the physical law of resonance.

When the earth’s “protective shield” weakens or diminishes, we might liken that to our own protective shield or barrier or veil weakening as well; that of conscious perception. When the veil thins we, just as the earth, have access to all the other information “out there.” This flow pours in like a monsoon, but if one is not ready or is unprepared, this evolution will mask itself and be interpreted as tumult, discord and confusion, thus a misunderstanding of the significance of this convergence of energies.

When one consciously recognizes and tunes one's self to the increased frequency of earth's vibration, the veils of perception, polarity and dissonance begin to blur and the recognition of being one with an unbroken whole starts to emerge. Though beginning individually, a collective awakening starts to take shape.

Braden says, “It is no longer necessary to go into the sacred chambers of ancient structures designed to provide the appropriate environment for this Shift; we are living The Shift within our offices, schools, living rooms as day-to-day life.”

So as we ponder the broom anomaly or stretch to make sense of our own fantastical and non-ordinary experiences, let us remind ourselves that we are living during a most unprecedented and magical time; a time that brings forth an opportunity to truly merge with the Shift of the Ages. Let us embrace the magic, attune to its frequency and reap the unlimited benefits of an infinite spectrum of experience.

2012: A Year of Fire & Change - By Guest Blogger Rosemary Ellen Guiley

In keeping with this month's "2012" theme, Rosemary gives us a snapshot of what 2012 could represent for many of us on the planet - swift and sweeping changes, evolution, risk, reward. It's all packed in what many have deemed a turning point in our existence...

Strap yourself in: 2012 is going to be a fast and sometimes rough ride – but not without reward. In Chinese astrology, we are entering the year of the dragon, and those who know how to master the beast will achieve what they want. Precision thinking and action are emphasized this year, and the adage “be careful what you wish for” takes on new importance. The dragon is all about swift transformation.

The dragon embodies knowledge, wisdom and power, and the ability to both destroy and create. Dragons breathe fire, ice and poison, all fearsome means of destruction. The fire energy is especially potent, and dragon energy can lay waste to a landscape in life in nothing flat. The destruction, however, is a fast track to change. The ashes fertilize new growth.

This energy of dramatic destruction followed by creation will characterize the year. To benefit from dragon energy, it is important to be clear and focused about what needs to go and what needs to come in. Let go of whatever you no longer need and pursue the things you want to manifest in your life. Spend time daily in meditation to set and visualize goals, then follow through with action. Fire energy is intense, so persevere, even when the going gets tough.

Above all, apply your knowledge, wisdom and power with discretion. Dragon energy will ultimately destroy blind and misplaced ambition, but it serves those who choose the high road.

Reality, Self, the Universe and the Urgency of Now

As some of you know, I have been on a mission to advance the premise of the Higher Journeys blog and get the momentum up quickly. The subject matters we will be exploring warrant it. And I’m happy to be contributing to what is becoming ubiquitous dialogue about spirituality, the self and all the mystery that surrounds it.

I must tell you that in the midst of doing some personal campaigning for Higher Journeys over the weekend, I received many wonderful emails about the blog, but one email that I received from a friend and associate caught my attention as one of her comments underscored a key point I had been trying to make in my previous entry, The True Nature of Reality – Should We Know More of the Story?

Her email was a pleasant one – and she admitted she finds these subjects interesting. But she quickly followed with the fact that these are the types of things you think about when you “get a free minute.” Now consider that there are still so many, that spend what little “free moments” they have doing nothing of the sort. Contemplate the mysteries of the universe, why we are here and who we are? No chance. Not when there are so many distractions to ensure we stay occupied with day-to-day “stuff.” So first, my hats off to her for taking occasional free moments to even ponder such wonders. But here’s my point: I think the time has arrived, where although taking those precious free moments to spend contemplating our spirituality and moreover our potentiality and our place in the Universe is a good start, it is now vital – absolutely vital that we take the responsibility to truly realize our potential, by first pondering, then studying and ultimately applying some of these otherwise abstract notions. We ARE powerful and spiritual beings. Every one of us – I am convinced of that. No matter your faith; no matter what religion or even no religion at all – and my sense has always been that our religions are but interpretations of a fundamental truth – there is something there for us to see and then fully incorporate and once we realize the “practical applications” – the sky is the limit (so to speak).

Recall how our paradigm quickly shifted post 9/11 – our fears, anxieties; our security or in-security as it were became blatantly magnified and still no signs of letting up – Unless….! We have now reached a crescendo - perhaps 9/11 being the impetus – such that our “normal” way of life no longer works. Might it be that in order to graduate to the next level of evolution as a species that the proactive incorporation of spiritual practices, benevolent practices, altruistic practices, all innate abilities, dormant as they may be, will help ignite our power and enable us to navigate the shift many are admitting is underway? This of course, is yours to ponder. My only plea: please consider taking more than a few minutes of your time to think on these things. For in the words of noted author Lyall Watson “Our future lies in the mind and our understanding of it…”
